How We Started

Swift Rim began in 2013 when our founder, after years of practicing property law in Zagreb, noticed a pattern: international buyers consistently encountered problems that could have been prevented with proper legal guidance.

Many had relied on real estate agents or sellers to explain legal matters, only to discover issues after purchase. Some found liens on their properties. Others learned their buildings lacked proper permits. A few discovered they didn't actually own what they thought they'd bought.

These weren't cases of fraud — usually just communication gaps, cultural differences, and the complexity of Croatian property law. But they caused real harm to buyers who trusted the process.

We established Swift Rim to fill this gap: a firm focused exclusively on protecting property buyers, with deep expertise in Croatian real estate law and genuine understanding of what international clients need to know.
